Clean Wisconsin is a major force in enhancing Wisconsin's water and air quality and strengthening Wisconsin's reputation as a leader for environmental stewardship and environmental protection.

This "Great Lakes, Great Shores" report from Clean Wisconsin was distributed to U.S. lawmakers and made available to the general public to boost awareness of how the shores of Wisconsin's Great Lakes are increasingly vulnerable. These seemingly infinite ‘sweetwater seas’ are threatened by invasive species, polluted runoff, habitat destruction, raw sewage overflows, toxic contaminants, and a nuisance algae.

The Healthy Lakes, Healthy Lives campaign is directed by the Healing Our Waters^®–Great Lakes Coalition. The coalition consists of more than
90 zoos, aquariums, museums, and hunting, fishing and environmental organizations representing millions of people, whose common goal is
to restore and protect the Great Lakes.
